Environmental, Social and Governance<\/b> are closely connected: respect for the environment, awareness of the social impact and ethical principles in the management of the firm.<\/span>
\nThe balance between economic, social and environmental priorities is necessary for the <\/span>creation of value<\/b> and the integration of ESG issues into the strategies of our professional organization has become the new development archetype as part of a path of <\/span>awareness<\/b> in risk management and of opportunities linked to environmental, social and governance factors.<\/span>
\nWe are committed to being a <\/span>sustainable and responsible<\/b> professional firm, attentive to environmental and social factors and to its own governance, and for this reason we apply reduced fees to Clients with an ESG rating and prefer suppliers who are sensitive to ESG issues.<\/span>
\nWe work daily on the integration of our <\/span>sustainability objectives<\/b> into the management system of our professional firm, aware that the value of an organization does not only lie in professional excellence and economic performance, but also in the social and environmental functions that make an organization ” sustainable\u201d over time.<\/span>
\nFollowing the <\/span>materiality analysis<\/b> carried out (which took into consideration the context, organisation, identification and assessment of the significance of impacts, including potential ones, as well as the priorities and concrete applicability of ESG issues) Studio De Marco has identified the sustainability issues relevant to its business and its stakeholders.<\/span>
\nProposing sustainable growth, Studio De Marco is actively committed to contributing to 6 of the 17 <\/span>Sustainable Development Goals<\/b> (SDGs) defined by the <\/span>United Nations 2030 Agenda<\/b>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

ENVIRONMENTAL<\/b> SOCIAL GOVERNANCE: <\/span>environmental commitment<\/b><\/h3>\n

Each of us must act to <\/span>minimize forms of environmental impact<\/b> such as pollution, deforestation and loss of biodiversity. Climate change mitigation and climate change adaptation are to be considered two complementary strategies to address the problem of global warming.<\/span><\/p>\n

We strive to limit the impact of our Firm on the environment by adopting initiatives aimed at <\/span>environmental sustainability<\/b>, by:<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  • substantially reducing waste production through prevention, reduction, recycling and reuse;<\/span><\/li>\n
  • carrying out the separate collection of scraps and waste;<\/span><\/li>\n
  • the use of biodegradable coffee pods and cups and the progressive abandonment of the use of plastic;<\/span><\/li>\n
  • the limitation of the use of prints (promoting the saving of files) with the progressive abandonment of the general use of paper;<\/span><\/li>\n
  • certified and tracked disposal of used toners;<\/span><\/li>\n
  • the promotion for all members of the Firm of the daily use of low environmental impact mobility vehicles (<\/span>public transport and hybrid or electric vehicles<\/span><\/i>);<\/span><\/li>\n
  • the promotion of less energy-intensive production processes and with less impact on the environment to strengthen resilience and the ability to adapt to risks linked to the climate and natural disasters.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    The social impact of the Firm and its relationships with the territory, people, employees, suppliers, customers and, in general, with the stakeholders and communities with which it operates is considerable.<\/span><\/p>\n

    We are committed to making the Firm’s social responsibility in a broad sense ever more relevant, encouraging initiatives aimed at social sustainability, the well-being of the community as well as respect for human rights, through:<\/span><\/p>\n

    • offering pro-bono activities to support non-profit organizations or associations with social and welfare purposes;<\/span><\/li>\n
    • promoting compliance with labour, social security and tax obligations, with the application of correct treatment to employees in compliance with the CCNL and the laws, guaranteeing the absence of any form of irregular work;<\/span><\/li>\n
    • facilitating the working activities of women and of individuals with family problems, promoting the protection of family life and taking into consideration any parental needs (including the sharing of parental responsibilities) and personal needs (including full enjoyment of the right to care);<\/span><\/li>\n
    • the strengthening of a culture and cultural intelligence that respect and know how to enhance individual attitudes, diversity, perspectives, experiences and abilities;<\/span><\/li>\n
    • the promotion of the social, economic and political inclusion of everyone, regardless of age, sex, disability, race, ethnicity, origin, religion, economic status or otherwise;<\/span><\/li>\n
    • the protection of the hygienic-sanitary conditions of the workplace, in full formal and substantial compliance with the applicable regulations.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      ENVIRONMENTAL SOCIAL <\/span>GOVERNANCE<\/b>: <\/span>ethical principles in the Firm\u2019s management<\/b><\/h3>\n

      We particularly care about the <\/span>ethics and conduct policies<\/b> of our people, especially for those who have the responsibility of managing our organization.<\/span>
      \nIt is the duty of all of us, and in particular of the professionals and the Firm’s Governance, to strengthen and promote the social, economic and political inclusion of everyone, regardless of age, sex, disability, race, ethnicity, origin, religion, economic status or other.<\/span>
      \nIn addition to the rules of professional ethics, for years we have had a <\/span>Code of Ethics<\/b> which identifies the set of values that constitute social ethics, the guiding principles as well as the fundamental directives with which the activities of the Firm and the behaviour of all those involved must comply, which, within the scope of their respective competences and in relation to the position held in the professional organisation, the Code is intended for.<\/span>
      \nThe Firm\u2019s management is inspired by best practices and ethical principles that promote awareness of the importance of all contributions for the implementation of the Firm’s principles, as well as allowing women and minorities full and effective participation and equal leadership opportunities.<\/span>
